Dyson's Harrier Jet

In the parking lot of Dyson’s office
there is a jet he has bought
that can burst into the air
from a stationery position
and shoot a person’s body
through the sky over an ocean
without ever needing to gain
the right momentum down a runway.
On the jet’s last flight the pilot
crashed it in the ocean, rolled it
on its back and ejected his body
down into the dark water. The pilot
was unharmed, the jet was recovered.
All of this functions as a reminder
for Dyson, a physical, winged mnemonic
he spots sometimes through the window.
