Mayflies in June
The liquor aisle stays lit until 11pm
and seven on Sundays.
I drink whichever beer is cheapest
so to let the market judge
what I have no business judging.
At Wed. church you can wear jeans
and sometimes it ends early.
It's there in the parking lot you witness
the first of the floodlights come on
and the mayflies queue up for communion.
