A funny thing that happened last week is: I read that Mos Def does a fantastic impression of Bob
Holman! It was finally sunny so I played hooky from work. Got my boots re-soled, wished I had
Kim Gordon’s eyebrows, picked up the Shaft soundtrack along with some weird Walt Whitman
vinyl with a naked dude on the cover. It’s pretty good but I’ve never heard of the guy reading the
poems and the music in the background is hit or miss. Some of it is kind of wack. I don’t know if
Walt would have been down with it.
